Hi i there, and welcome to my math tutor blog, Math Concepts Explained. On this page, I'm just going to tell you a little bit about me, so that you can see that I do know what I'm talking about on my site! :) I have a Master's degree in Science specializing in Medicine, which I completed after obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Obviously, in my field I had to be very good with numbers, and so having very strong skills in mathematics was essential. Now that I have completed my school programs, I would like to pass on some of what I learned to you, students who are looking for help with math. I recognized when I was in school how valuable it was to have a reliable resource to help me with my math studies, and that is what I am trying to recreate on this blog.

On this site, I am trying to publish as many math concepts that I can that will be helpful to you in your studies. You can think of my site as a free online math tutor, because if you can't find a topic that you need, or you are still confused after reading my posts, please leave me a comment and I will try to provide additional help. I try to explain things as simply as I can, so that my explanations are as least confusing as possible, but sometimes I may need to clarify some things. If you're looking to get some of the best math help you will find, you've come to the right place to find easy-to-understand online mathematics tutoring for math concepts.

I welcome any and all feedback in the comments sections.  I love to hear about success stories, and will try to get back to you promptly if you need extra help posted. Suggestions to improve my site are also welcome.  I have also set up a twitter account, @MathConcepts (follow me!), and more recently, a Google+ page at https://plus.google.com/b/105261086214583149788/ (add me to your circles!)  A Facebook site will be coming soon as well.

Good luck with your studies and thanks again for visiting! I hope you find what you're looking for.

  1. Hi, been following your site for quite a while and really appreciate your genuine passion to simplify concepts and stuff. Was wondering if you are keen to consider a link exchange? Am a Singaporean maths teacher here by the way. Peace.

  4. I am a special educator and have to start co-teaching 7th grade math. I am not a math person by any means and scared as can be. I'm starting with integers. Do you have any tasks (common core) that I can use for things such as multiplying/dividing integers. We want to come up with tasks that relate to real world. Thanks
